Being a one woman business really keeps me busy! My outlook for the first 3 months of 2012.

I have to heavily plan for my hours, days, weeks and months to ensure that I am keeping on track and being as productive as possible.  I'm continually driven to push my business to success and to exceed my own expectations.
For 2012, I have many many goals for my company, and I'd like to share my plans for the first 3 months of this new year!

I always have to keep active on Twitter & Facebook.
January
--I'm already super busy applying to fine art shows for my jewelry line.  Some applications for May through November are already due or even past due!

--I'm also working on my contest entry to the Bead Dreams competition, which is due by early March.  Stay tuned for more details on what my contest entry will be and my progress.
--Submitting my jewelry items to popular fashion magazines to keep my name in the press.

--Approaching retail location to carry my jewelry line.

February
-- I have to develop and decide on any classes I'd like to teach for the next few months.

--I need to submit projects to upcoming issues of popular jewelry making magazines to keep my name in the press.

--Still applying to more jewelry art shows too!
--Finishing my Bead Dream contest entry and finding a model & then getting it photographed.

March
--Teaching classes
--Planning my upgrades to my show displays for the show season.

--Developing new tutorials to sell via my website shop and my Etsy shop.
--Concentrating heavily on making jewelry for shows starting in May.

Gotta get to work!  Stay tuned for the latest updates!

  1. Kat,

Whew! Your 2012 is going to be a busy one! There's no doubt in my mind that you can do it, though. You've accomplished so much already!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for Bead Dreams this year. Here's to chain maille dominating the wire category again!

  2. Thanks for your great message Sarah! Chainmaille shall dominate as it did last year!!
I'm doing a cowl neck hoodie scarf and matching eye mask (if I have time to make the eye mask). It will be done in my Inclined to Shine pattern, which will take FOREVER to make, but it'll be worth it!
    Happy New Year!
